4. Select descriptive anchor text in the show-notes editor, choose **Insert Hyperlink**, and enter the external URL. ### Link behavior and value

On the inspected [Somewhere in Time Podcast page](https://somewhereintime.podbean.com/), the website anchor is present in the server-delivered HTML, points directly to the destination, and has no `rel="nofollow"`, `ugc`, or `sponsored` token. That supports the dofollow label for this method on Podbean's hosted pages. Treat it as current observed behavior rather than a permanent guarantee: Podbean can change its templates, and Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or other syndicated copies may render links differently.

A new Podbean subdomain or episode page starts with little authority of its own.
