## Qualtrics

Qualtrics survey owners can place a direct external resource, disclosure, privacy, or project link inside a published survey. The link requires an account with HTML-markup permission, and surveys are not indexed by search engines by default, so this is a narrow referral and attribution opportunity rather than an easy authority backlink.

- URL: https://www.qualtrics.com/
- Guide: https://backlinkbadger.com/provider/qualtrics/
- Link type: dofollow
- Free option: no
- Backlink value: 1/100
- Spam score: 2/100
- Difficulty: 60/100
- Estimated time: 30 minutes
- Requirements: Licensed or organizational Qualtrics account, Allow All HTML Markup permission, Legitimate survey and relevant destination page, Public anonymous survey link

Qualtrics is useful as a backlink source only when the destination genuinely supports a survey. Good examples include a study or project page, privacy notice, sponsor disclosure, participant information, help page, or further reading. The link appears on the live `*.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/...` survey page.

## Steps

1. Create or open the real survey in an account that has **Allow All HTML Markup** enabled. Qualtrics states that its standard free account cannot enable the permission required for clickable hyperlinks.
2. Add a **Text / Graphic** question or edit the question text where respondents need the resource.
3. Open the **Rich Content Editor**, highlight the relevant text, select the **Link** icon, set **Link Type** to **URL**, and paste the canonical destination URL.
4. Preview the survey and click the link. Avoid tracking wrappers if you want a direct outbound anchor.
5. Review **Survey Options → Security**. Qualtrics says surveys are not indexed by search engines by default; change that setting only when the survey is genuinely public and search visibility is appropriate.
6. Publish the survey, open **Distributions**, and copy the reusable **Anonymous link**. Test the published URL in a private browser window.

A current public example is the [ICHOM Liver Disease survey](https://ichom.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cCvnDgLFhhsseAm). Its introduction links directly to `https://www.ichom.org/` as a respondent resource.

## Link quality notes

The inspected ICHOM anchor points directly to `https://www.ichom.org/` and has no `rel="nofollow"`, `ugc`, or `sponsored` token, so the recommended direct-link method is classified as dofollow. That does not make a new survey page authoritative: anonymous survey URLs usually have little internal discovery, no page history, and default indexing protection. Some organizations also rewrite pasted links through security redirectors, so verify the published anchor rather than assuming every Qualtrics survey behaves identically.

Treat this as a supporting citation inside real research or intake work. Do not publish a thin survey simply to manufacture a link; without respondents, distribution, and a legitimate purpose, the page is likely orphaned and worth almost nothing.
